Remember Tamagotchi growing up? Well now, Tamagotchi is coming to the blockchain!
Aavegotchi are basically Tamagotchi’s on steroids. These DeFi powered crypto collectibles earn you money while at the same time are entertaining and fun to play with!
By staking your Aavegotchi with the collateral it is backed behind (AAVE, DAI, ETH, etc.), you can earn rewards over time that will make your Aavegotchi that much more valuable.
Each Aavegotchi is summoned through a portal. When summoned, there will be 10 different Aavegotchi to choose from. There are rarities for different body parts, back grounds, and borders so the choice might be hard if there are a couple different cool ones to choose between. With how amazing this project is, the community is even better. I was blown away by the amount of positivity and support seen in just the short amount of time I’ve been here. It’s a breath of fresh air after being involved in so many other crypto communities over the past few years.
You can truly tell that this project is special. Just last week we had an insane Halloween party the likes I’ve never seen before. The Discord voice channel was filled to the brim with users listening to Harrison First’s amazing set as the team was airdropping candies (various types of different cryptos) left and right. I ended up racking up $12! :)
There was also a Halloween costume contest where participants could create their own costumes for a chance to win 150, 100, and 50 GHST tokens. I had never in my life created pixel art but took a day to sit down and try my hand at it. The first couple attempts were rough, but after a couple hours I impressed myself with what I was able to come up with:
Even though I didn’t win, I had a blast making the wearables and look forward to future competitions.
